The game experienced a brief connectivity issue this morning. The team promptly fixed the issue and things are back to normal, thank you to everyone who passed along reports!

This won't make me want to quit more than I already want to, however, it will probably help me play less.
I really enjoy this game and it's a nice break from the day, but it really has become more of a 2nd job than fun.
Kabam, take notes please.
If this doesnt speak volumes, i dont know what will. Kabam, youre digging your own grave pulling stuff like this. The Contest is your only viable source of revenue and i can guarantee this will NOT cause an increase in sales. In fact, youll likely lose a bunch of your player base which in turn will cause revenues to decline.
Great job 👍
The bulk of them are useless for higher tier champs. If they were all, t1 and up, a % it would not matter what tier the summoner has reached, they would be relevent and useful at every level of the game.
So fine, take away farming! But improve your product if you will not let us accumilate the massive numbers it takes to restores a 6* or God forbid! A 7???
My alliance has had two more "spending" retirements this morning, directly citing this change.
Multiple more have voiced they are considering doing the same.
We've had a 3 year, stable 30 in the alliance, always been able to replace people, do well in the gifting/spend events. This announcement has directly led to people quitting. I'm genuinely concerned that the alliance will collapse and decent TBs and paragons as replacements aren't exactly flooding into the game.
Open up my alliance chat now and review it.
Ilovescotch in game.
That dull thudding sound, is nails being driven into the coffin that was mcoc.
I have spent thousands on this game over the years. With the new Paragon daily specials being such a great value, I have already bought all but 1 or 2. I genuinely thought I would have to budget how many I bought, so I didn’t go over board. Today has cleared up a lot of things for me. I cleared a couple runs of EoP, but I still need to acquire certain champs to complete all of them. Today has made me reevaluate if I want to complete the rest of EoP. For me personally, it’s not really worth it. The grand prize is a R5 gem that is completely RNG based, so you might not get to rank up the real champ you want. I can get the equivalent by adding a 15% attack and health boost to any champ I want. So do I really need to go through the stress and aggravation of completing this content? If I’m not striving to gain and rank up champs to clear this content and content like it, why am I buying daily specials? The only other reason to gain and rank up champs is BG, but that is riddled with so many problems, it’s a piece of content I no longer enjoy. Right now I can get through EQ and SQ with little too no items, so I have a solid enough roster to clear most content. If you’re a paragon player U DON’T NEED TO GAIN AND RANK UP MORE CHAMPS.
I think if you’re a Paragon player like me, you have a great opportunity to reevaluate how you play this game. If you have no incentive to clear content, you don’t need to spend any more money on this game. You can easily farm units and wait for unit sales every 3 months, which will give you the same rewards, if not more than clearing content.
Instead of being mad, pissy and outraged; think about the money that you will be saving. For me it gives me a sense of relief and puts a little smile on my face.
So far this new change looks like an attempt to find another source of income, increase how much an average player spends money in the game. We all prefer honesty and transparency here. But apparently these words are not really popular.
I've become Paragon without really farming revives (maybe, a couple of times), but I don't enjoy the title at all, you know why? Because there was no challenge in Act 7, and the whole Paragon title is more about spending money rather than showing skills. The content focus has shifted from bringing value/satisfaction to players to monetising it more and more.
Now you introduce this change - removing the opportunity to fully legally farm revives. Aren't there other more critical issues to be addressed, like modders that don't even need revives to overcome difficult content? The whole youtube is complaining about cheaters in battlegrounds and other game modes (like conquerors with Legend title earned in the recent Incursion). Or like continuous bugs that pop up every new release and annoy players?
I'm sure you at Kabam will ignore this post, but I don't care about that. We can all still do little things to make you a bit more grounded. Before, I didn't mind to spend 20-50 euros each month on different in-game perks and offers. But I promise you - I'll never spend any single cent in the game. I hope that other people are going to do that as well, all those Kabam monetisation charts will make them a bit sober
Can we also add some consumables to thronebreaker EQ?
Essentially, what you are saying is that Kabam has projected that certain content should result in an average number of revives being used across the player base. Based on that average number of revives, Kabam believes certain content should create a certain amount of revenue to justify paying developers to create that content. So at what point do you just allow players to enter into a quest that has a one energy path. At the end of that path, you can simply pay units to get the quest rewards and not complete the content. Let players bet against themselves and just pay for what other people are playing for - make it farmville.
I've been around since 2015. I've stopped spending and gone back to spending. But at some point (and for clarity, this is the point) where I am just tired of being treated as though I am in an abusive relationship where MCOC beats me down and then tries to tell me its for my own good. It's understandable that MCOC has had personnel turnover over the years, but it's like you don't learn from your past mistakes. The condescending posts that pretend like the player base doesn't know any better and will just each the BS being spoon fed to us. I don't even care about the revive nerf, I'll just not do content that isn't fun. It's about how you treat the players, and again for me personally, this is straw.
As chunkyb already mentioned, the post is Kabam's opening salvo knowing that it would enrage players. Kabam will pull back and offer some type of "compromise" hoping that players view it as a win. It's annoying and a tactic that should not work more than a few times on a player base. Kabam is banking that it will work this time, and it probably will. But again, for me, its about your tactics, content, and how you perceive your player base, not about a nerf to revive farming.
Love,
Kabam

Basically saying that you either spend to do content as it comes out or end up waiting until you have the perfect counters and enough resources to do it. By that time the rewards aren't worth it and you don't end up doing it (Abyss/Carinas/ect.). So then why are you even playing the game if you never do the content?
Like, what's the point in doing Abyss now? Is anyone ever going to go in there for the first time when the rewards are outdated but it's still made so you HAVE to spend revives? Seems like a waste.
I'm still a bit frustrated by the fact that the game changes its focus from developing content for its users to obvious increasing of monetisation (how much an average player spends in the game). From this point of view, I can even say that I didn't really enjoy getting the Paragon title because Act 7 didn't really bring any challenge for me comparing to Act 6 and the Thronebreaker journey. For me it was just about spending extra money to get resources for those bloody R4 6-star champs. Which I think is terribly wrong. I mean, I don't really mind to spend a few euros but the game should have brought some increasing challenge.
And now they drop farming, which seems to have another hidden reason behind - increasing monetisation by making people spending more money on units. It feels so terribly wrong because they have lots of higher priority problems to fix (bugs, modders), but they don't do that
