With the introduction of five mini bosses, will they be dulled down somewhat as a fight even if marginally, as 5 fights the same effect as the previous 3 is just unfair .

The goal with the removal of Defender kills wasn't to increase the use of Potions or Revives, but to relieve the feeling of defeat that comes with taking one shot at a defender, losing, and feeling that you're now helping the other Alliance, so you stop playing, even though you have 2 perfectly good attackers still there.
I am curious about the detect masteries now that its been brought up. This does make them completely useless. AQ has maps out there that list all of the opponents on what nodes. AW was the only place with variety (sorta) that they could be used. Can anyone tell me a purpose for them now that I may be missing?
So does this mean I can bring my Joe Fix It, Iron Patriot or Kamala Khan for attack and they'll be just as effective? Cause being limited on what attackers you bring due to their ineffectiveness has always been my biggest problem with War. People using the same handful of attackers gets boring. I for one have like 70 four star champs and would like to utilize them more. I use the same 10 champs for everything and the rest just taking up space.

Another edit! You specifically mentioned Increased Energy Damage nodes. Please define what will count in that case. Is it attacks only (IM L2, for instance)? Or will it boost damage from Limbo and Coldsnap?
So, this one is a "little from Column A, a little from Column B" situation. Enhanced Energy nodes are only effective on Hit, but also affect anything caused by that hit. So the Coldsnap applied from Iceman's Special 1 will be stronger, but the Coldsnap that begins at the start of a fight with an Awakened Iceman will not.
Limbo shouldn't be affected at all.

Also, the Coldsnap is a debuff placed on the opponent as the result of a hit...the Coldsnap is not a "hit" in itself and should not be affect by an increased energy node.
The biggest mistake here are the 5 mini-bosses and no defender's kill points.
What's the reason for this? Will the mini-bosses be easier than what they are now?
And by not getting any defender's kill points, item usage in AW should be removed

It doesn't matter what your "goal" was, we're telling you how it's gonna be. How am I supposed to beat an alliance with higher defender rating that will spend to 100% the map? It's impossible, even if we 100% aswell with 100 deaths while they do it in 300, they'll win purely by defender rating. You've removed all the skill involved in AWs
Can you explain the logic begind temp reducing energy cost for Act 4 to go along with this? Can't work out why this is done and included in AW update post?
It's just something to do while Alliance Wars are down for an extended period. It won't be something for everybody, but if you haven't 100% Explored Act 4 yet, it's a good time!
Wouldn't Act 5 also be something to do while AW is down??? Why is that still 3 energy?

Bigger map doesn't mean that you'll be having more fights. There will be just as many Defenders as there were before.

The amount of items that any user can use remains the same, so every Alliance Member can still only Revive/Heal 15 times. This hasn't changed. Additionally, 5 Minibosses doesn't mean that any one person will be taking on more than 1.

And to make the map bigger, have more sub bosses and to not spice up rewards doesnt make ANY sense. And lastly you announce one of the big goals was to "change diversity of defense champs"... but mention the points offered for said diversity "won't be that many points and is more for tiebreaking"? Seriously? Lol.....heads up...people dont give a **** about that....so now not only will we see the same amount of Dorm's, Magik's, ect.....we'll see more....stellar job as always gameteam!!!

Limbo is not affected, but a debuff placed on the opponent by a hit is affected. Not just Coldsnap, but any Debuff that deals energy damage that is caused by a hit will be affected.
Well, personally I'm excited for the idea. Less Energy wait times, new Map, more points for Attack Kills. Portals will be interesting. I'm open to change. It will take some getting used to, but anything new does.

Relieve the feeling of defeat??? LMAO if you get knocked out you shouldn't feel defeat???? What is the point of wars if losing shouldnt make you feel defeated?? If this is the mentality, then the winning alliance and the losing alliance should receive the same rewards! Why should the al\losing alliance feel defeat if they lost?? Cmon this is a load of garbage.
This is a new brazen approach from kabam. Usually when they make an outfront attempt siphon our wallets they try and throw in a positive caveat, often updated rewards...but so far as I can tell the only caveat to counter the wallet molestation is the fact that this is "different"...same amount of defenders, bigger map seemingly for no reason, more bosses, more reasons to spend, but yay "different". Lucky us.

Ok now the thing bothering all of us players are in higher tier aw where already magik as 3 mini boss and one boss with md 5/5 kick the butt of even experience player now they have to face 6 magik now?in 4 boss we already have difficulty to defeat the magik bcz of his limbo way too op and that's just ridiculous.
More mini means more magik and more magik means atleast 2 player on that path to defeat them that means player have to forget exploration.
Now tell me any answer about that @Kabam Miike which every player really want.

We didn't say it's harder! We've made a bunch of adjustments that should actually make it easier, like the total removal of Slashed Tires and Thorns.
